Frequently asked questions

How do I get my guide after I buy it?

Instantly. As soon as your payment goes through, a download link is emailed to the address you used at checkout — usually within a minute. Nothing ships, so there's nothing to wait for.

I didn't get my email. What now?

Check your spam and promotions folders first, and search your inbox for “Kitchen Table Guides”. If it's still not there, email support@kitchentableguide.com with the address you used and we'll resend it manually. We'd rather hear from you than have you sit and wonder.

What format are the guides in?

Every guide is a PDF. PDFs open on any phone, tablet, laptop or e-reader without special software, and they print cleanly on standard paper.

Can I print it?

Yes — please do. The guides are laid out to be printed. Worksheets, checklists and scripts are on their own pages so you can print just those and leave the rest on screen.

Can I read it on my phone?

Yes. The layout is designed to stay readable on a small screen, which is where most people actually end up reading.

How long are the guides?

Long enough to be useful, short enough to finish. These are working documents, not textbooks — you should be able to read one in a sitting and start using it the same day. Page counts are listed on every product page, in the Format section.

How much does the bundle save me?

Bought individually the five guides come to $125. The bundle is $69, so you save $56 — roughly the price of two guides.

Do I get all five files at once?

Yes. One checkout, one email, all five PDFs delivered together. There's no drip schedule and no waiting between guides.

Should I buy the bundle or just one guide?

If one guide clearly matches what's hard right now, buy that one. The bundle makes sense if two or more speak to you, or if you want them on the shelf for later — most families need different guides in different seasons. There's no expiry on any of them.

I already own one guide. Can I upgrade to the bundle?

We can't automatically credit a previous purchase, so buying the bundle would mean paying for that guide a second time. Email us before you buy and we'll tell you honestly whether the math works in your favor — sometimes it doesn't, and we'll say so.

Can I gift the bundle to someone?

Yes. Buy it and forward the download email to them. If you'd like it to arrive on a particular day, just hold the email until then.

Buying, sharing and support

Do I need an account?

No. Check out as a guest and the file comes to your inbox. There's no login to remember and no subscription to cancel.

Can I re-download it later?

Your download link stays active, so keep the confirmation email. We also recommend saving the file to your device or cloud storage the first time you open it. If you ever lose it, email us and we'll sort you out.

Can I share it with a friend or my co-parent?

Your purchase covers you and your own household — including a co-parent in another home. Please don't post the file publicly or resell it. If you'd like to share it with a group, a class or a workplace, get in touch and we'll work something out.

Do you offer refunds?

No. Guides are delivered instantly and can't be returned, so all sales are final. This applies to individual guides and to the Complete Kitchen Table Library, and it applies whether or not the file has been opened. We know that's a firm line, so we try to make the decision easy before you buy: every product page lists exactly what's inside and who the guide is for. If you're not sure which one fits your situation — or whether any of them do — email us first and we'll give you a straight answer, including telling you not to buy if that's the honest one. Can I cancel an order?

No. Delivery is immediate and automatic, so an order can't be cancelled once it's placed.

What if my download doesn't work?

That's different, and we'll always fix it. If your link fails, the file is corrupted, or the email never arrives, email us and we'll get you a working copy. You paid for a guide you can open, and that part is on us — it's not a refund question.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify's encrypted payment system. We never see or store your card details.

Are these a substitute for professional advice?

No. These guides are practical, experience-based resources, not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you're worried about your child's development or your own mental health, please talk to a qualified professional. A good guide and good professional support work well together.
